YULETIDE: Elekeokwuri Felicitates With Constituents, Urges Them To Remain Peaceful And United


As Christians across the World mark the birth of Jesus Christ, the honourable member representing Ika North East State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri, has called on his Constituents to use the occasion to rededicate themselves to the teachings of Christ, which focus on oneness, unity and love for one another.

The Lawmaker, noted that, “it is only when we continue to manifest the virtues of unfeigned humility, genuine love and sacrifice that we can truly lay claim to being true followers of Jesus Christ, whose teachings centre on love for one another.”

He advised them against seeing Christmas celebration as mere ritual, but to see the occasion as time for deep sober reflection that should be used to reappraise their relationship with the Almighty God and their fellow human beings.

Elekeokwuri Felicitates With Constituents

Hon. Elekeokwuri, whose message was contained in a statement by his Media Assistant, Comr. Victor Iwekuba, while felicitating with his Constituents, called on them to remain peaceful and committed to the development of the constituency, urging them to, “use the occasion to reflect deeply on those things that unite us and work toward strengthening them.”

He also urged them to remain focus in the pursuit of a better and prosperous Ika North East Constituency and Delta State in general, where all citizens are partakers of the benefit of good governance.

Elekeokwuri who reaffirmed his commitment to uplift the lives of his constituents, said he will continue to offer them quality, efficient and effective representation at the hallowed chambers.
