Veekee James Shares Story Behind Priscilla Ojo’s Wedding Dress

Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has spoken out about the challenges she faced while creating Priscilla Ojo’s wedding dress, describing the project as both a personal dream and professional highlight.

This comes after speculation surrounding her absence from Priscilla’s high-profile traditional wedding in Lagos.

In a video shared on Instagram, Veekee revealed the toll the design process took on her, saying, “Do you know I even lost my voice because of this stress? I’m short of words for so many reasons.”

She added that before creating the gown, she had prayed to make it a masterpiece, saying, “Before we created Priscy’s wedding dress, I had gone to God and said I wanted to create a masterpiece for her.”

According to Veekee, the intense month-long process was unlike any other project she’d undertaken. “I lost my voice for this dress,” she joked, calling it a labor of love that required prayer and precision. Priscilla Ojo also featured in the video, praising Veekee and expressing her delight with the final result, which exceeded her expectations.
