Uviejitobor Lauds Delta Assembly’s Strong Partnership with the State Executive
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Government Affairs, Hon. Peter Uviejitobor, has praised the collaborative relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms of the Delta State government.
Speaking on the 8th Assembly’s one-year anniversary, he acknowledged the crucial role of the legislature in implementing Governor Oborevwori’s “MORE” agenda.
Uviejitobor, a former state legislator, commended the Assembly for fulfilling its mandates of promoting peace, good governance, and socioeconomic development.
He lauded Speaker Emomotimi Guwor, Principal Officers, and members for their efforts towards sustainable development.
The Special Adviser assured the Assembly of continued collaboration with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in implementing state government policies and programs.
He called for enhanced synergy in the “Advancing Delta Project” and acknowledged the achievements of the 8th Assembly, including 18 bills and several motions within a year.
Uviejitobor praised the peaceful and focused atmosphere in the Delta State House of Assembly, unlike some other states, and looked forward to a more robust and productive legislative session ahead.
