A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Aniocha South Local Government Area and Convener, Chukwudi Utomi Support Group (CUSG) Mr. Chukwudi Utomi has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his recent victory at the Supreme Court.
Utomi, a grassroots mobilizer for the PDP, said that the Governor’s Victory was not only a reaffirmation of his overwhelming victory in the March 9, 2019 governorship election in the state, but also the last straw that broke the Camel’s back as far as Chief Great Ogboru of the All Progressives Congress (APC) litigations are concerned.
He stated this while playing host to the Chairmen of PDP Ward 1 and 2, Aniocha South and other party faithfuls at the his country home in Ogwashi-Uku.
Utomi commended the party faithfuls for the visit assuring that he would further strengthen PDP for more exploits in future elections in the area especially come 2023.
The PDP stalwart appreciated Governor Okowa for the massive infrastructural development across the state, saying that his ingenuity and administrative acumen has indeed turned the fortunes of Delta State around for the better.
According to him, “Governor Okowa sent us on errand. He said we should go home and work. We went, we worked, we fought and we conquered.”
Against this backdrop, he appealed for appointment for him and members of the group, pointing out that as foot soldiers of the Governor, the appointment will energize and further spur them for more electoral exploits for the PDP in future elections.
Earlier, the Ward Chairmen said the visit was to appreciate Mr Utomi for his support for the PDP as well as encourage him to keep up with the good works in moving the party forward.
