Ughelli/Udu Fed Constituency: Udu Leaders, Delegates Adopt Taleb As House of Reps Choice

The race for who will represent Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu federal constituency at the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly in 2023 elections, has been pruned down as delegates from Udu council area have adopted Hon. Taleb Tebite as their choice.

The endorsement which was an outcome of a meeting of the PDP leaders and delegates of the local government area Monday, May 16, 2022, had in attendance Chief Eddy Ono-Sorhue, Hon Peter Uviejitobor, Elegbete Moses Odibo, Dr Henry Sakpra, Chief Joseph Odjeni, Chief Ogaga Jeda, Chief B J Egbetama, Barr John Ishaka, Barr Pat Willie, Chief Andrew Oyovwiraye, Hon Patrick Ariole amongst others.

In their unanimous agreement, they noted that Hon. Taleb was the best aspirant who can wrestle power from the APC and restore the glory of PDP in the federal constituency.

One of the delegates who spoke to this medium said, “Taleb Tebite is a vibrant and well accepted politician who cut across Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu. He has been a standing force for Ughelli South politics. His adoption as the choice of our people is a welcome development”.

The Peoples Democratic Party has fixed Thursday, May 19, 2022 as date for primary election for House of Representatives aspirants.
