Takeme Commends Okowa’s Development Strides In Burutu
The new Commissioner, Directorate of Urban Renewal, Dr. Julius Takeme has commended the development strides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in Burutu local government area.
Dr. Takeme gave the commendation in Burutu, headquarters of Burutu local government council during the inauguration of Delta State Councillors Coalition for Okowa reelection, Burutu local government area chapter.
The Commissioner, Directorate of Urban Renewal, Dr. Julius Takeme said the PDP led administration in the state had impacted so much on the lives of the people positively and appealed to the people of Burutu local government to vote Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa back to power.
Dr. Takeme noted the governor reelection is no negotiable as Deltans desire more in terms of peace, security and visible practical infrastructure in both rural and urban communities across the state.
He said in the history of Burutu local government area had never witnessed massive road construction and infrastructure Development until the Okowa’s administration.
Dr. Takeme expressed optimism that the people will reciprocate the good work of the Governor with at least 95% of their votes in 2019 governorship election.
The Commissioner reassured the people of the administration’s steadfastness in the development of the riverine areas of the state especially the oil bearing communities, stressing that Okowa is a man of integrity and promise keeper.
He said the governor is building roads across riverine communities, describing the development as exceptional.
The. Chairman, Burutu local government council, Hon. Godknows Angele said the people of burutu are very happy with governor Okowa for bringing the dividends of democracy to the people.
He stated that all the township roads in Burutu town have been turned into concrete built roads as well as construction of modern market in the town.
Hon Angele said representatives of all the 219 electoral units were at the council are gathered to witness the inauguration of Burutu chapter of the Delta State Councillors Coalition for the reelection of Okowa, even as he charged all to go out and educate the electorates on the need to vote enmass for PDP.
He urged them to arm themselves with their PVC.
Inaugurating the body, the Special Assistant to the Governor on conflicts resolution Hon. Shedrack Agediga urged the councillors to use their positions at the wards level to preach the good work of the governor.
The Leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Joseph alubeze lauded the governor s Achievement in burutu LGA and assured that they will work for his reelection.
