The Crown Princess is also scheduled to meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar and the Governor of Lagos State to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

A highlight of her visit is the commissioning of the Swedish Trade Office in Lagos, expected to boost trade relations between the two countries. This development is seen as a significant step towards strengthening economic ties between Sweden and Nigeria.

This meeting marks one of the rare high-profile visits from European royalty to Nigeria. Notably, Princess Victoria had previously received Vice President Shettima at the Royal Palace in Stockholm during his official visit to Sweden last October.
