Surviving in Nigeria is Difficult – Tiwa Savage

Global Afrobeat artist, Tiwa Savage has stated that the prevalence of poverty is a significant factor contributing to the large number of entertainers emerging from Nigeria.

Savage noted this during a recent interview on the ‘Shopping The Sneakers’ podcast, stating that life in Nigeria presents considerable difficulties.

According to Savage, all the superstars in Nigeria are hustlers.

She said, “When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars. To survive in Nigeria is something else so that’s why the artists that come out of Nigeria are just like hustlers. They are just hustling.”
