Supremacy Battle: Fresh Crisis Looms in Edo APC

The choice of candidate to represent Igueben constituency  at the Edo State House Assembly 2019 general election has given room to fresh crisis rocking the ruling party All Progressive  Congress, APC between the party National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and the State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.

It was gathered that, the governor has endorsed unknown United Kingdom and Nigeria base businessman, whose business activities is not legitimately known to the people of Igueben and Edo state, Ephraim Aruebhose ahead  of Adams  Oshiomhole preferred Dr. Justin Okonoboh in order to stop his coming back to the House.

Inside sources revealed that, some aggrieved party chieftains and elder’s had promised to stop Aruebhose from representing them at the State House of Assembly by voting against the party at that level come 2019.

Furthermore, the elders added that, they cannot allow this injustice to continue because it will affect them and their families for next four years, while urging the President Muhammadu Buhari, National  leader and Governor Godwin  Obaseki to save their unborn children untold hardship.

Investigation revealed that,  Obaseki is planning to build his own structure in order to muscle his second term, as most of the party chieftains, faithful are aggrieved over choice of candidate that will flag the party come 2019.

It would be recall that, the trouble with Justin Okonoboh is not a recent affair but barely two weeks Obaseki was sworn  in as Governor, Okonoboh was inpeached as speaker.

It was further revealed that, the secret plan to take control of the House of Assembly has come to light were he directly removed  Justin Okonoboh through the just concluded party primaries in the state and replace him with a man of questionable characters.
