Student Loan: 192,000 Beneficiaries Gets N32.8 Billion from FG

The Federal Government has released N32.8 billion in student loans to support tertiary education in Nigeria.

This was announced by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, during a ministerial briefing in Abuja on Tuesday.

According to Idris, out of 371,000 students who applied for the loan, at least 192,000 have successfully drawn down the loans worth N32.8 billion. These beneficiaries were selected from 150 tertiary institutions across the country.
