Speed Darlington Returns to Police Custody

Nigerian singer, Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington or AKPI has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri, Imo State.

This was made known by his Lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, in a post on his X handle on Wednesday morning.

Adeyanju wrote, “Our client Speed Darlington, a.k.a. AKPI, has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri at his show upon return to Nigeria.”

He added that his arrest occurred during his return to Nigeria for a show.

However, Adeyanju did not disclose the reason of his arrest.

Recall that Speed Darlington was arrested on October 4 by the Nigerian police for allegedly cyberstalking Burna Boy, but was later released on October 9 after spending five days in detention.
