Ronaldo Launches Film Studio with Matthew Vaughn


Cristiano Ronaldo  has ventured into the film industry, marking his debut in the film industry with a partnership with British producer Matthew Vaughn.

The duo has launched an independent film studio, UR•MARV, with a 50-50 joint venture that has already produced two action-packed films, and a third installment is in the works.

Although the financial details of their collaboration remain under wraps, the investment is timely, given the growing trend of streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney+ backing independent filmmakers.

This support provides a global distribution network, enabling films to reach a broader audience and fueling the growth of the independent film industry.

Ronaldo expressed his enthusiasm for the venture, saying, “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business.”

Vaughn, known for his work on the Kingsman series, praised Ronaldo’s storytelling abilities on the pitch, stating, “Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him, he’s a real-life superhero.”

The 40-year-old Ronaldo has expanded his business portfolio significantly over the past decade, investing in various ventures, including a hotel chain, a porcelain manufacturer, and a media company in Portugal.
