PUMA Snatches Premier League Ball Deal from Nike
Global sportswear giant PUMA has secured a major partnership with the Premier League, becoming the league’s Official Ball Supplier from the 2025/26 season.
This significant aggrement marks a crucial step in PUMA’s strategy to elevate its brand and solidify its reputation in the world of elite football.
As announced on Monday, PUMA will provide match balls for every Premier League game, replacing current supplier Nike.
The company will also collaborate with the league on grassroots football programs, high-profile marketing campaigns, and events such as the Premier League Summer Series in the United States.
According to PUMA CEO Arne Freundt, “The agreement with the Premier League, the most-watched football league in the world, is an important step in PUMA’s brand elevation strategy. With PUMA’s ball at the centre of attention during every match, we will create unforgettable moments for players and fans alike.”
The Premier League offers an unparalleled platform for visibility and global brand growth, broadcasting to over 900 million homes across 189 countries. This partnership underscores PUMA’s ambition to expand its influence in football, building on its existing sponsorship of Manchester City and individual deals with Premier League stars like Jack Grealish, Kai Havertz, and James Maddison.
Richard Masters, Chief Executive of the Premier League, welcomed the partnership, emphasizing PUMA’s longstanding commitment to football. “We are delighted to be welcoming PUMA as the Official Ball Supplier of the Premier League. Their global reach and commitment to excellence align with our values, and we look forward to working together to inspire fans worldwide.”
With this landmark deal, PUMA strengthens its presence in top-tier football, ensuring its brand takes centre stage in the world’s most-watched league.
