President Tinubu Arrives Enugu for One-Day Official Visit
President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu at 1:22 pm, marking the beginning of his one-day official visit to the state.
He was received by a delegation of dignitaries, including Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Abia Governor Alex Otti, and others.
According to a statement issued by Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, on Friday, Tinubu is Tinubu is expected to commission several projects, including the Enugu International Conference Center, built by the Mbah administration. The conference center is a significant addition to the state’s infrastructure.
In addition to the conference center, the President will also commission 30 completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools out of 260 under construction across the state, as well as 60 completed and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of 260 under construction across the state.
President Tinubu will further commission a multi-auditorium and multi-functional Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City, a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre, as well as 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras.
