Alleged Maltreatment of Staff: Police Nabs Evasive Asaba Access Bank Manager
The Police have finally apprehended Mrs Oluchi Nwabuikwu, “the untouchable”, Access Bank 025 Branch Manager, Agric Junction, Nnebisi Road, Asaba, Delta State.
It was gathered that Oluchi Nwabuikwu, who had allegedly forced many staff of the Bank to resign over inhumane treatment, was arrested Monday morning, August 9th 2021, at the front of the bank.
The embattled branch manager, discovering that she has met her Waterloo, purportedly created a scene for over an hour when the officers who laid seige at the front of the bank nabbed her this morning.
Oluchi Nwabuikwu, who has allegedly been reporting to the bank in at late hours after she realized that she had goofed, have been avoiding arrest in the past two weeks.
It was gathered that she is currently at the former SARS Office, opposite Asaba International Airport, where she is presently cooling off.
It would be recalled that Oluchi Nwabuikwu, alongside Access Bank South East Zonal Manager, Ifeanyi Onwukwe and Compliance Officer, Edward Nnaji, had unlawfully detained, harassed, intimidated, degraded Mrs. Confidence Nwabuokei, at the Compliance Officer’s office from 11:00am till about 5:00pm under the air-conditioner for allegedly stealing Oluchi Nwabuikwu’s car keys.
Although, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Edafe Bright, said he is not aware of the arrest when contacted but promised to get back, our source insisted that Oluchi Nwabuikwu has be nabbed.
