PDP Ex-Lawmaker, Ofobruku Joins Delta APC
A two term lawmaker and former aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon Efe Ofobruku is the latest decampee from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress(APC).
Ofobruku who represented Uvwie constituency in the Delta state House of Assembly, had nursed ambitions of clinching the 2023 gubernatorial ticket under the PDP.
Welcoming him to the party, Deputy Senate President and Governorship Candidate of Delta APC, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege stated that “The day is still young, by midnight, there will be no one left in the PDP.”

Hon. Friday Osanebi and the Director General of Delta APC Governorship campaign council, Elder Godsday Orubebe.
The statement from Omo-Agege is reproduced here. “Earlier today, we formally received our brother, Hon. Efe Ofobruku, a former two term member of the Delta State House of Assembly, and former Delta State PDP gubernatorial aspirant into our progressive family, the APC. The day is still young, by midnight, there will be no one left in the PDP.
