Party Switch: Delta Lawmaker, Princess Daibo Moves to PDP
The Honourable Member Representing Warri South 1 Constituency, Hon. Princess Shola Ogbemi Daibo has changed alliance from her Accord Party to the State Ruling Party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
She made her intentions known to the House through a letter read by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
According to the letter, She assured of her dedicated loyalty to PDP while reassuring her commitment to the leadership of the House and total service to her constituents.
The Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Tim Owhefere, welcomed her on behalf of the PDP members in the House.
It will he recalled that, Hon. Daibo was elected to the House under the Accord Party on April 26, 2017 as replacement for the late Omawumi Udoh who was until her demise, the member representing Warri South 1 Constituency.
With this switch to the ruling party, PDP now have 28 members in the House with just one opposition party member, Hon. Ofobruku Efe of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) representing Uvwie State Constituency.
