Osanebi Presents Cars To Constituents To Celebrate PDP Victory In Ndokwa East
The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, says Ndokwa East Local government area is a traditional territory of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Rt. Hon. Osanebi stated this while addressing constituents who trooped to his residence in Beneku community upon the news of his declaration and that of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as winners of the last Saturday’s Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.
The Deputy Speaker at the event where he made a surprise cars gifts to two Constituents, told party faithfuls and supporters that the reelection of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for another term of four years was worthy of celebration as it was a reward for diligence and hard work.
Rt. Hon. Osanebi commended the people of Ndokwa East for believing in continuity and good governance, assuring that the next four years will witness greater development.
“Today we gather in Beneku to celebrate God’s faithful in the life of the state. Okowa represents light and the light shall continue to shine in Ndokwa East. We are all PDP faithfuls, friends and people of same family. It is our victory because we voted for a better and greater Ndokwa East. I congratulate my governor, I congratulate myself, I congratulate the people of Ndokwa East. We pray against distractions. Let us come together as a people to make our local government area better”. Osanebi stated.
The Deputy Speaker said the presentation of the two vehicles to Comrade Afam Osaji and Mr Asure Gospel was in recognition of their selfless efforts towards free, fair and peaceful conduct of the just concluded general elections.
Rt. Hon. Osanebi stated that he will sustain his empowerment program as promised during his electioneering campaigns, expressing optimism of awards of more development projects in the localities.
“I shall remain a blessing to humanity in appreciation of God’s favors in my life. I have promised to continue to be a blessing to others. The empowerment will continue until it get to every family. I will continue to pay my people back for their love for me and determination for greater Ndokwa nation”. Osanebi stressed.
The beneficiaries of the two cars and others who spoke thanked Osanebi for commitment to peace and development in Ndokwa East.
They assured him of their continued support.
The Deputy Speaker Polled over 28,000 votes to beat all other party candidates in the last Saturday’s State House of Assembly election with his closest contender, the APC candidate scoring about 4,000 votes.
