EASTER: Osanebi Fetes Ndokwa East Leaders With Food Items Worth Millions
Barely two weeks of splashing cash and food items worth over fifty million naira on his constituents, the member representing Ndokwa East Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has again presented food items worth millions of naira to leaders in his constituency as part of this year’s Easter celebrations.
Osanebi who sent the food packages which include, rams, goats, bags of rice, groundnut oil, processed tomatoes, noodles among others directly to the houses of the leaders on Sunday morning through his aides, thanked them for their support and dedication to the fight against the dreaded coronavirus in Ndokwa East, Ndokwa nation and Delta state.
The lawmaker stated that the gesture was a way of saying thank you to those helping the government to consolidate on its plans, especially during this trying times, in helping to enforce the seat at home order put in place to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state, adding that the Easter package was to stimulate, encourage and commend them for their selfless services to the people of Ndokwa East Local Government Area.
Osanebi who is the immediate past deputy speaker of the state assembly, further commended the mentorship and leadership roles of the leaders, noting with delight that he is truly proud of them and prayed for their sustained support and prayers for the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa led government in the state.
He also appreciated them for their uncommon patriotism and assured of his continued people oriented representation and ensure the welfare of his people at all times.
In their different responses, the leaders commended the lawmaker for his kind gesture, noting that the palliatives will go along way in cushioning the effect of the global lockdown.
It will be recalled that in the wake of the lockdown directive by the state government, Osanebi who dished out various palliatives to his constituents to cushion the effect of Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the world, also opened his fish lake, one of the largest in the Niger Delta region to them for free fishes.
