Osanebi Commends Governor Okowa For Approving The Construction Of Beneku Bridge
The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has applauded the Delta State Government’s approval for the construction of a bridge across the Asse River to Beneku community in Ndokwa East local government area.
The Over 400 meters bridge is to link Kwale, headquarters of Ndokwa West Local Government with Beneku and other smaller communities in Ndokwa Nation.
The Deputy Speaker expressed the profound gratitude of the people to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa whom he described as a promise keeper.
Osanebi in a statement in Asaba, said “I thank His Excellency, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for approving the construction of the Beneku-Kwale link bridge. I commend him for his kind benevolence to Ndokwa Nation, the people of Beneku in particular”.
The Deputy Speaker stressed “Today, the joy of my people knows no bound. Beneku bridge is a dream come through for our people. The governor have again shown great love and magnanimity to my people”. They have expanded his nickname as not only Road Master but Bridge Master”.
Rt. Hon. Osanebi noted that the construction of the bridge will further boost the socio-economic life of the area which is seemly industrial.
“Silver and gold we have none”. But we the Ndokwa East people owe governor Okowa our unalloyed support and massive support for his reelection come 2019, to show solidarity and appreciation for this kind gesture and love for the people.”Osanebi said.
The Deputy Speaker maintained that the governor has indeed shown his love for Deltans, following his passion and commitment for infrastructural development and linking of communities in Delta State with roads and bridges.
Osanebi emphasized that the people are indeed grateful to the governor’s efforts to raised quality of lives in the state.
