Onwo Expresses Happiness Over Rehabilitation of Oleh-Irri-Aviara Road


Construction work has commenced on the Yanga market, Oleh-Irri-Aviara road rehabilitation project, in Isoko South local government area.

The Member Representing Isoko South 2 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Chief) Ferguson Onwo, while expressing happiness over the development, commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the award of the project.

Hon Onwo said he had approached the authorities on the need for the project to ease vehicular movements in the locality, saying that the road was in a very bad shape.

The Lawmaker who visited the site of the project, charged the contractor handling the job to deliver quality work.

Hon Onwo also appealed for timely completion of the project within the time schedule, saying that the socio-economic important of the said link road can not be overemphasized.

Accompanied by some engineers in the State Ministry of Works, the Lawmaker enjoined the youths in the area to cooperate with the contractor and avoid act capable of slowing down the work.

Hon Onwo said the project when completed was will improve the living conditions of the people as well as boost their economic well-being.

The firm handling the project for the state government, said he was ready to partner with the community leadership and the youths to ensure early completion of the project.
