Kick Out Covid-19: Okpobor Tasks Deltans On Compliance With Government Directives
The Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Petroleum Monitoring, Mr Oghenekome Okpobor has urged Deltans to comply with the directive of the State Government which was issued to curb the spread of the novel strain of coronavirus (Covid-19).
No case of the virus may have been recorded in Delta State, however Mr Okpobor has hailed the Governor of Delta state, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for his proactive and timely effort to curb and prevent the spread of the deadly virus into the State.
He said, “By closing down all entry points into the State, and issuing a stay at home order, the Governor has shown a determination to not just govern but to protect the lives and well-being of all Deltans.”
Mr Okpobor reiterated strongly that the measures being put in place are for the benefit of all Deltans and strict compliance and cooperation with the State Government will help defeat the spread of Coronavirus.
Mr Okpobor also stated that Deltans can be rest assured that there will be a steady and uninterrupted availability of petroleum products at the stipulated pump price, urging all Petrol stations in the State to ensure hand washing facilities, hand sanitizers and disinfectants are put in place for intending customers, “this will aid in the success of the war against the Covid-19”.
