2019: Okpe to Endorse Samuel Eyifoma for State House of Assembly


Political bigwigs in Okpe Local Government Area are currently buying into the aspirations and vision of Evang. Samuel Eyifoma to represent Okpe State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2019.

Evang. Eyifoma who is a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has so far received some accolades and support by his intimidating supporters, describing his vision and mission for Okpe as unprecedented with people’s oriented programme to transform Okpe into investors destination.

In a chat with newsmen, Evang. Eyifoma identified the various challenges bedeviling the socioeconomic development of Okpe and vowed to make Okpe an economic hub taking cognizance of its prime location and attract other human capital developments to the council.

The Aspirant whose both parents are from Jeddo community and prides Okpe Language and culture, promised to institutionalize the language in all schools in Okpe land through law making thereby making the language a house hold name in the council with free scholarships from primary school to higher institutions awarded to the best students to encourage the spoken language at all gathering so that it doesn’t go into extinction.

He said that youth restiveness and antisocial activities in Okpe will soon be a thing of the past, “because when there is meaningful engagements for our youths, nobody will be thinking of going into crime”, Eyifoma added.

While identifying the role of women and men to the development of any society, he noted that his humanitarian services where he has been empowering men and women, will be improved upon and sustained.

Evang. Samuel Eyifoma appreciated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his developmental strides in Okpe and commended the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, HRM, Major General, Felix Majakperuo, Chairman Advisory Council to the state government, Prof. Sam Oyovwerai, Commissioner for Works, Chief James Aguye amongst others for attracting development to Okpe.
