Ojo Commiserates with Tilije over the Deaths of Mother and Mother In-Law Within Weeks
…Says it is Shocking and Devastating.
The Member Representing Ukwuani Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Alphonsus Ojo has commiserated with the State Commissioner for Water Resources Development, Sir Fidelis Tilije over the deaths of the mother, Mrs Mary Tilije and mother in-law, Mrs Comfort Chisunum, nee Okoluku.
Hon Ojo in a statement on behalf of the good people of Ukwuani State Constituency, described the deaths of the two mothers which occurred within an interval of two weeks as shocking and devastating.
The lawmaker stressed that the death of a loved one was always painful, stating that the two deaths happening in such quick succession, made it more painful and capable of causing some set backs if not well managed.
Hon Ojo told the Water Resources Development Commissioner that as a worthy constituent, he shared in his pains in this moment of grief and admonished him to take solace from the fact that the lives lived by the two mothers were fulfilling.
The Lawmaker pointed out that the two women who died at the ages of 84 and 78 respectively left behind sterling legacies that the children and families would be proud of, stressing that such level of attainments in life in the present day society were very rare.
Hon Ojo who is the Chairman, House Committee on Health, prayed God to grant the souls of the late mother and mother in-law of Sir Tilije eternal rest.
