Ofobruku Congratulates Governor Okowa on Supreme Court Victory

The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Delta State on legislative matters, Hon Efe Ofobruku, has hailed Wednesday’s January 8, 2020 Supreme Court revalidation of the re-election of Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as the duly elected governor of Delta State.

Speaking to newsmen at Asaba the state capital, Ofobruku noted that the unanimous verdict of the Supreme Court judges describing the Chief Ogboru suit as lacking in merit, wasting of the courts time and a mere academic exercise, further reenforced the grassroots acceptance of the Smart governor by majority of voters in Delta State.

“Governor Okowa is a man of the people and a peace-loving statesman. The decision of the supreme court will definitely go a long way to solidify the faith of the masses in the courts. I felicitate with the PDP family and Deltans at home and in the diaspora.” He stressed.
