Not Too Young To Lead Movement Hails Okowa For Appointing Young Deltans

The leadership and members of #NOTTOOYOUNGTOLEAD has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State for appointing Hon. Freeman Fregene, Mr Julius Takeme, Mr Kelly Oghenekevwe (Member Board of internal revenue) and Chief Emoboh Gbagi as Special adviser.
The group described the Governor as a true leader who encourages the growth of young people and expressed appreciation for finding these young men with content worthy of being included in his cabinet.
The commendation was contained in a statement issued in Asaba by the convener Comrade Elvis Akpobi.
“The Governor has proven he believes in creating room for young people. We have had to fight an uphill battle concerning the inclusion of productive young people in governance; with these appointments, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has proven to be a true lover of Youths but like Oliver twist we will not stop asking for more youths with content to given the privilege to be in policies making of the state.”
“We have utmost confidence in the ability of these young men to deliver on this mandate as they have proven their mettle over time. Their capacity when it comes to youth mobilization and empowerment is without question and we are grateful for this opportunity given to them and the group by extension.”
