Nollywood Icon Nkem Owoh Marks 70th Birthday
Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, has marked a significant milestone in his life as he celebrated his 70th birthday on Friday.
Owoh took to his Instagram page @osuofia_nkemowoh to express his gratitude to God and his fans.
He wrote, “Chi efogo, and it is my 70th birthday. What else can I say? To God be all the glory. Special thanks to you all for being part of this journey. I love you all.”
Fellow celebrities took to the comment section to felicitate with the Nollywood legend. Uche Elendu wrote, “Happy birthday, my John Bull… 70 looks amazing on you, uncle.”
Susan Peters simply said, “Happy birthday.” Shan George also wrote, “Happy birthday, uncle Nkem. May your days be long and your bones be strong. More grace, sir.”
Actor Freddie Leonard described Owoh as an “Icon Living” in his birthday message. Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Brighto, wrote, “Happy birthday to you, sir. Congratulations for coming this far.”
Nkem Owoh, a renowned comedian, singer, and actor, was born on February 7, 1955. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2008.
In 2017, Owoh was honored with the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Award’s Lifetime Achievement Award at its 13th edition.
