Nollywood Actress Iyabo Ojo Offers Reward for Missing Phones at Movie Premiere

A drama unfolded at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s latest film, Labake Olododo, when her colleague Mercy Aigbe’s phone went missing.

The incident occurred on Sunday, March 23, at Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX in Lekki, Lagos.

Iyabo Ojo has pledged a cash reward for the safe return of the missing phones. In a now-viral video, Iyabo appealed to the public to return the phones, promising a financial incentive.

“We are looking for it. Please, who has seen it? I did not say anyone stole it. Please, if anyone sees a phone that is not theirs, I beg we will give you money,” she said.

“I will personally give you money, please. Two phones at the same time, please. You can come to me, I will give you money. Just locate me, I promise I will give you money.”

Mercy Aigbe was visibly frustrated, confronting her assistant who was responsible for the phones before they went missing.

The premiere of Labake Olododo, a historical drama, was attended by several Nollywood stars, including Odunlade Adekola, Cute Abiola, and Saheed Balogun. The movie is set to hit cinemas on March 28.
