NOA, NMA, Pfizer, Miss Health Nigeria, others Partner to improve Trauma Care in Nigeria


The current President Nigeria Orthopaedic Association and Nigeria Medical Association, Dr Mike Ogirima, Former Minister of Health, Dr Onyebuchi Chukwu, Miss Health Nigeria, Queen Rita Chinedu and other health practitioners on Friday pledged to support the existing efforts put in place to improve the health care system in Nigeria after an intensive three days conference on trauma care in Nigeria.

President NOA, Dr Mike Ogirima, in an address to the members of the Association shared NOA’s thoughts and aspirations on how to strengthen trauma care in the country.

The conference had powerful presentations from Medical Doctors on how to improve trauma care in Nigeria.

The Former Minister of Health, also shared some challenges facing the healthcare system in Nigeria, he also added that the current minister of health should focus more on Primary Healthcare.

The Current Miss Health Nigeria, Queen Rita Chinedu rounded it up by sharing how ineffective attention to trauma care kills thousands of Nigerians and she also added that the Federal Government and The Senate should focus more on improving the Healthcare in Nigeria.
