‘No More Children for Now, My Wife Needs to Work’ – Davido

Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that he and his wife, Chioma, are taking a break from having more children to focus on family balance and support Chioma’s growing business ambitions.

Davido revealed this in a recent interview on Ride Along With Darryl, explaining that expanding their family isn’t a priority for now.

“I don’t want more children now. Me and my wife are taking a break. She needs to get out to work. She wants to do a lot of things like opening her restaurant and launching her spices. I feel she deserves a couple of years off after having 3 kids,” he said.

The singer added that Chioma is currently preparing to launch her business ventures, starting with her line of spices, which she plans to get into major stores worldwide.

“She is here mostly now so I think she is going to open something here first, both in Nigeria and here, but she wants to open something here first. The main thing is the spices for now. Get the spices in some major stores worldwide, both in Africa and diaspora, everywhere, ’cause her food tastes amazing,” Davido said.
