No Chioma, No Marriage – Davido Opens Up

Global star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has stated that his wife, Chioma, played a role in his decision to get married.

Davido noted this this during an interview on The Morning Hustle podcast, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

Reflecting on their 13-year relationship, Davido  expressed his gratitude for Chioma’s unwavering support and influence on his personal and professional growth.

“Without Chioma, I wouldn’t have gotten married. There’s no point,” Davido stated.

When asked further how he met his wife, he said, “She has been my girl for like 12, 13 years.

“I was famous, but I want like big, I was kind of okay; now I’m making like 5 to 6 hundred thousand dollars for a show on a good day. I’m making more.

“She was with me when I was making 2 thousand dollars. She is my friend.”

Recall that the couple tied the knot on June 25, 2024.
