No Afrobeats Without My Name – Davido Boasts

Nigerian Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has confidently claimed his major impact on Afrobeats.

Davido stated this on a recent Instagram post, stating that he has the world at his feet.

This declaration is part of the promotion for his upcoming fifth studio album, 5IVE, scheduled for release in March 2025.

Recognized around the world, Davido has been key in promoting Afrobeats globally.

He announced his new album and released the video for his latest song, ‘Funds,’ which is already making waves on the internet.

“Afrobeats can’t be brought up without my name. Impossible. The genre-defying pioneer has brought his sound to the attention of millions, and with his new album ‘5ive’ coming March 2025, he truly has the world at his feet.” Davido wrote.
