Nic-Ola Beauty Sparkles Corner: Make your Life here on Earth Count
At the hospital yesterday with mum and sis waiting to see the doctor among other patients, suddenly we heard a scream and someone burst into uncontrollable tears, it was a woman who brought her child to the hospital for treatment, for she was ill (the child).
We were all shocked cos it was said everyone there except me had seen the mother and the child when the child was alive. It was also said that the child was in excruciating pain while she was still alive, but you know how it is when you go to a government hospital, had she been attended to on time, perhaps a life could have been saved, so we all thought.
Everyone was sad at the news of the child’s demise, as I turned to look at my mother, I saw her two hands on her head, then I said to her, woman is not yet the end of the world, bring down your hands. We all laughed including her as she brought down her hands with a heavy sigh.
I try to analyse what her thoughts could have been those few minutes, I thought that she could have panicked in her heart for her children too.
See it could have been anyone else yesterday if not that child, it could have been an adult as well. So after much pondering over the issue while on my way back to #Asaba, I came up with this conclusion, that the difference between life and death is very  thin, and so death is very near even everyday to us.
Just a small slap or punch at the wrong part of the human body could lead to death, so many other reasons are there of course, so what am I saying?
Is the air we breathe that make our heart beats, the moment it stops, that’s the end. So I asked why then are we still alive?
Being alive is not our right, but is God’s gift to us the living, is not by our righteousness, neither is because of dreams and aspirations, even many more talented persons than us have died long back, even more righteous persons than us are dead long ago, some even the past one minute.
So if you are reading this text now is because you are alive, God has privileged you to experience this wonderful gift called life. What you do with it matters alot.
Make it Count…
Make your life here on Earth Count…
Remember, We don’t have forever with our bodies here on Earth.
