Ndokwa East 2019: Philip Ugbomah Calls on Delegates to Vote Rightly
Delta State House of Assembly hopeful, Engr. Philip Ugbomah has called on would be delegates in Ndokwa East Local Government Area, to ensure they cast their votes rightly during the primaries.
Engr. Ugbomah made the call during a consultative meeting with members of the Isoko Development union, IDU, at Isoko-Ameh over the weekend.
Speaking to the members of the IDU, he called them to help carryout sensitization advocacy for delegates not to vote based on how much will be offered to them, but based on the antecedent of the aspirants, and their love for the people of Ndokwa East.
“I appeal to you my people, especially those of us who will be delegates at the primaries not to mortgage their conscience, but vote rightly, for the future of your children, and for the betterment of our Local Government.” He said.
He promised to attract development through collaboration with the executive, and other development agencies.
In his welcome speech, the Chairman of the IDU in Ndokwa East, Evang. Philip Iyede, JP, while lamenting the lack of development of the entire Ndokwa East, called on aspirants from the area not to fail the people if given the ticket and eventually voted into office, as their biggest problems had been those elected to represent them.
Evang. Iyede, praised Engr. Ugbomah for his continuous support for the development of the area, especially support which through his foundation had offered numerous sons and daughters of Ndokwa East, employment, trainings and other assistance.
Also, the Isoko-Ameh Graduate Forum, and Isoko-Ameh Political vanguard, has endorsed the aspiration of Engr. Philip Ugbomah for the Ndokwa East House of Assembly Seat come 2019.
The two groups said that they had found Engr. Ugbomah worthy, and had decided to pitch their tents with him, as his antecedent and penchant for community development cannot be equaled.
