Napoli Flexible on Osimhen’s Price for United Deal

Napoli is willing to lower Victor Osimhen’s €75m valuation to facilitate a transfer to Manchester United, preventing him from joining Italian rivals Juventus in the summer.

The Nigerian striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, is set to leave Napoli at the end of the season, with several top European clubs competing for his signature.

Osimhen was expected to depart last summer, but his potential move to Saudi Arabia fell through, and he rejected a Chelsea transfer due to personal terms.

Manchester United has submitted an official offer to Galatasaray, although the proposal’s value remains undisclosed. The Red Devils are accelerating their efforts to bring Osimhen to Old Trafford, with Arsenal also submitting a bid. Liverpool, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are closely monitoring the situation.

Galatasaray is reportedly willing to make sacrifices to keep Osimhen, but may struggle to convince him to stay. Napoli, however, does not want Osimhen to join any of their rivals.

Manchester United has made Osimhen their top striker target, despite interest in other players like Viktor Gyokeres and Liam Delap.

Juventus is still pushing to sign Osimhen, despite reports he has rejected a potential move. However, United is poised to rival them with Napoli’s help, thanks to a good relationship between the two clubs facilitated by Scott McTominay’s transfer.

Osimhen’s exit clause only applies to clubs outside of Italy, meaning Juventus must negotiate a different transfer fee. Amid the speculation, the striker has remained silent on his future.

Turkish journalist Arda Ozkurt noted that Osimhen is currently focused on helping Galatasaray win the Super Lig and Turkish Cup, without communicating any decision on his future.
