Mayor Timi Ogobiri Lauds Barr. Perez Omoun Humanitarian Gesture To Patani Rural Dwellers
Ijaw people Development Initiative, IPDI acting spokesman, Mayor Ogobiri Timi has commended the philanthropist gesture of Perez Omoun to the unprivileged and grass root people of Patani.
In a telephone chat with our reporter, Mayor Ogobiri Timi who was a youth leader in Patani eulogized the warm hands of love of Perez Omoun to the Patani Rural Dwellers.
He noted that having known Perez Omoun as a philanthropist, during the Weekend showed what real Godly love means to his people; people who are in dire need of support from good spirited persons. In this occasion, Perez distributed 140 bags of rice, made cash donations to the community and provided funds to Patani General Hospital that was in a total blackout as a result of government inability to provide Diesel to power the generating set to enable medical staff make use of electricity to power medical equipments and appliances.”
According to Mayor Ogobiri Timi “what Omoun has done is marvelous; no political office holder in the history of Patani LGA has practically attained this height of benevolence. He has demonstrated his deep love for the people of Patani despite not being in the political sector. His desire to put smile on faces of people with his hard earned resources is highly commended.”
“It is our candid prayers that God should replenish him, as this is a fulfillment of the ‘Giving’ the Bible teaches where it said it is more blessed to give than to receive, because the lord God blesses those who cares for the poor, downtrodden less privilege”

Perez Omoun was a onetime Legislative Aide to the former member representing Patani State Constituency in Delta State house of assembly and deputy speaker of state house of assembly from 1999 to 2015 Rt. Hon. Barr. Basil Ganagana. He was also a Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency in 2015.
