Jude Okoye Steps Back from Mediating Psquare Feud
Jude Okoye, the older brother and former manager of the famous music duo Psquare, has announced that he is done trying to mediate the ongoing conflict between his younger twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye.
The conflict, which started in 2017 and led to the breakup of the duo, has resurfaced again, despite a brief reconciliation in November 2021.
The most recent disagreement became public knowledge when Paul, also known as Rudeboy, accused Peter, also known as Mr. P, of getting him arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Peter aka Mr.P has denied these accusations and instead claimed that Jude their older brother took millions of dollars from their joint account and put it into a secret company.
Fans of the popular music duo have expressed their disappointment, urging Jude to step in as a peacemaker rather than taking sides.
However, during a recent Instagram Live session, Jude Okoye voiced his frustration over being constantly pulled into his brothersā arguments.
He shared that he has done everything possible to reconcile the twins, even going as far as to “sacrifice himself” to solve the conflict.
Jude Okoye said: āThese people [Peter and Paul] have children who are teenagers. If they were in America, they would be grandfathers by now. Why is it that Peter always involves me in their fight? Itās because he thinks people always tell Jude, the elder one, [to say] āgo and settle your brothers, go and put your family in orderā.
āWhat do you mean by āput your family in orderā? My family is in order. Let them put their family in order. If they are doing business together, let them handle it. I have tried to the point that I sacrificed myself.ā
With Jude Okoye stepping away from trying to mediate, the future of Psquare’s relationship is uncertain. Fans now hope the brothers can work out their issues on their own and possibly reconcile.
