Jim Iyke Speaks Out After YouTube Removes His Movie ‘Light in the Dark’


Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has addressed the recent removal of his movie “Light in the Dark” from YouTube. The film had garnered over 600,000 views before being taken down due to reports of inappropriate content.

In a video statement, Jim Iyke expressed his resilience and positivity in the face of setbacks. “Setbacks do not discourage me,” he said. “I always operate with a mindset of positivity, regardless of challenges.”

The actor acknowledged his team’s hard work and admitted that experiencing such setbacks can be disheartening. However, he emphasized the importance of perseverance.

Jim Iyke also shared his past experience with YouTube, where he lost a channel with over a million subscribers after it was flagged. Despite the setback, he started over and gradually rebuilt his presence on the platform.

The movie “Light in the Dark” has since been re-edited and re-uploaded to YouTube. Jim Iyke urged his fans to watch it again, even if they had already streamed it before its removal.
