Isoko Economic and Investment Council to hold Education Round Table Jan. 23

The Isoko Economic and Investment Council (IEIC) will hold it’s maiden edition of the Isoko Education Round Table on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

The event with the theme “The Future of Education in a Globalized World: Isoko in Focus”, will be held in conjunction with the Isoko North and South Local Government Council, Isoko Development Union (IDU) and the National Union of Isoko Students (NUIS), by 9am at the Isoko House, IDU Roundabout, Oleh in Isoko South, Delta State.

In a Press Release signed on behalf of the groups by renowned Port Harcourt Lawyer and Secretary to IEIC, Barr. Emerhana Onoriode Paul ACIArb, ACFE, the groups said the event will be chaired by renowned Professor of History and former Vice Chancellor of the Delta State University, Abraka, Prof. Abednego Ekoko and other Isoko scholars and educationsist will be moderating different sessions of the event.

“This is an effort aimed at discussing the educational future of our people through stakeholders’ engagement. The event which will require educationist, opinion lraders, politicians, traditional rulers etc is designed to help rethink the educational future in an era of accelerated global change, contemporary digital solution and technological advancement”, the statement reads in part.

Other resource persons includes’, Prof. Samuel Aghalino, Prof. Christopher Akpotu, Prof. Enuku, Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo, Dame (Chief) F.I.A. Ehinlaiye and Hon. Benjamin Ogbalor.

Others are Darlington Ofekeze MCIArb, Hon. Michael Akpobire , MR. Mamode Felix Akugha, Dr. Evelyn Aluta, Hon. Barr. Orezi Esievo and several others
