IPDI And Niger Delta Parliament Group Sympathizes With The Family Of Deceased Itsekiri Lawmaker
Ijaw People Development Initiative, IPDI and Niger Delta Parliament Group have sympathized with the Iwere kingdom, Itsekiri Nation and the family of Udoh over the untimely death of Late Honourable Mrs, Omawumi Udoh, member representing Warri South constituency I in Delta State House of Assembly.
Speaking to our correspondent in Asaba, the National Acting spokesman Mayor Timi Ogobiri said the news of the death of Honourable Omawumi Udoh came as a surprise, so shocking and annoying.
The groups said Honorable Omawumi’s death is a big blow to her family, Itsekiri Nation and Delta State at large.
The activist said they had been observing with keen interest on Omawumi life time diligent services to the people of Warri South Constituency. “Omawumi’s dead is a monumental loss to the Itsekiri Nation, Delta State government and among Delta State Legislators.”
“She will be greatly missed by her husband’s family, Delta State Assembly, friends and well wishers. She died at a time when her contribution is highly needed in Delta State and Niger Delta Region to address the region’s many challenges.”
However, the group through its spokesman prayed God almighty to grant the bereaved families the fortitude to bear the irreparable demise of their Daughter, Mother, Aunty and Leader.
