Integrity Group Installs Ex-Ethiope East LG Boss, Ofobrukueta as Patron

…as Ofobrukueta lauds Oborevwori’s One year in office as “Landmark Achievements”.

The Delta State Integrity Group, as part of its goodwill and devotion to service and humanity, has decorated the immediate past Chairman, Ethiope East local government area of Delta state, Rt Hon (Pharm) Omamuyovwi Victor Ofobrukueta as Patron of the group at his country home, Okurekpo, Ethiope East.

Speaking during the unveiling and conferment of Rt Hon (Pharm) Victor Ofobrukueta as patron of the group, the Chairman and Convener of the Integrity Group, Delta State, Dr Oke Idawene described the immediate past Chairman as a bridge builder and a symbol of development and outstanding personality.

Idawene said the group has been following Ofobrukueta’s developmental initiatives ranging from projects to mother of empowerment, where over hundreds of youths were engaged in skills acquisition with starter pack at the end of the training so as to become self-reliance and independent in their call of discipline.

The Chairman, while in the council as usual purchased official vehicles for the Head of Personnel Management, HPM, Secretary to Ethiope East local government SLG, Vice Chairman, Leader of the House, NULGE, and a waste disposal van because of his passion for sanitary.

He said the group had also witnessed the training and equipping of the Local Security men (Delta State Community and Security Corps) with 8 buses and security gadgets, and the building of a civic center in Okpara Inland, renovation of Isiokolo roundabout, teachers’ recruitment, renovation of markets, donation of educational materials to all schools in the area, repairs of Eku/Abraka road and other achievements within 3 years in office.

Idawene said Ofobrukueta’s recommendation to be their patron comes from several high dignitaries across the globe including the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House Of Assembly, Barr Arthur Akpowowo, and having seen Ofobrukueta’s programs being in line with the More Agenda of the present administration of the governor, hence the conferment of the patron on him.

Responding, the immediate past Ethiope East local government Chairman and by his Grace, the incoming Chairman, Rt Hon (Pharm) Victor Ofobrukueta described his conferment as the patron of the group as a result of his numerous achievements despite the paucity of fund in the council.

He eulogized the State Governor, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori for his gigantic and developmental stride in the State especially the ongoing flyover at PTI junction and other parts of the State and the recent employment of primary school teachers, saying that Oborevwori’s One year in office as landmark achievements.

Ofobrukueta said, “Only the blind or the deaf will feign ignorance of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s achievements within one year in office, and the relative peace being experienced by different quarters of the state is worth emulating, advising the group to channel its energy and campaigns to all nooks and crannies of the state mostly the ward level.

Highpoint of the occasion was the presentation of award and portrait to Rt Hon Pharm Ofobrukueta Victor and also unveiling the immediate past SLG, Hon Edesiri Aganbi as the Administrator, Integrity Group, Ethiope East Chapter and the endorsement of Hon (Pharm) Victor Ofobrukueta for continuity for his second term as Chairman, EELGC having been tested and trusted.
