I’m Not Leaving Labour Party, Says Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, has firmly denied rumours of leaving the party.
Obi stated this while speaking at the National Executive Council meeting in Abuja, on Wednesday.
This clarification comes amid speculations about Obi’s potential defection to other parties, including the Social Democratic Party.
In response to this Obi said that he hasn’t discussed his departure with anyone.
“I’ve not told anybody that I’m leaving the Labour Party,” Obi stated, adding that any major decisions about the party’s future would involve stakeholders.
