Ijaw Group Passes Vote of Confidence on Lawmaker
The Member Representing Burutu one constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Environment, Oil and Gas, Hon Daniel Yingi has been commended for his quality representation of the people.
The commendation was contained in a letter to the lawmaker by a pressure group, the “Ijaw Political Initiative for Good Governance” and signed by the National Coordinator, Mr Theodore Afore.
The group in the letter passed a vote of confidence on Hon Daniel Yingi, stressing that he had remained an outstanding patriot and leader who is still very qualified and relevant for the seat of Burutu One Constituency in the Delta State Legislature.
It disclosed that the quarterly tour of the team across the various wards in Burutu North indicate that Yingi’s representation is well felt by the people, maintaining that he had collaborated with other relevant stakeholders, including the state governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa to attract development to the communities.
The statement named some of the projects to include, Cottage Hospitals, Renovation and Construction of new Schools Buildings, Solar Lights, Modern Market, Water Projects, Civic Centers, Human Capital Development among others.
The group asked Hon Yingi to run for another term of office in office in order to continue with the good work and attract more dividends of democracy to the people of Burutu North Constituency.
It also admonished the people of the constituency to continue to lend their support for Hon Yingi to succeed in his quest for greater development in the constituency.
The Lawmaker, Hon Daniel Yingi in his reaction, commended the Ijaw Political Initiative for Good Governance for its partnership in the development strides of Burutu one constituency, assuring the people of sustained quality representation in the delta state house of Assembly.
