I Will Never Fail The People Of Ika South – Festus Okoh


The elected Member Representing Ika South Constituency, Hon. Festus Okoh has assured that he would continue to advance the name of Ika South local government area.

Hon. Okoh stated this while addressing newsmen at the State INEC headquarters in Asaba after he was presented with the Certificate of Return by the National Commissioner in charge of Akwa-Ibom, Cross River and Delta States, Dr Mohammed Lecky.

He acknowledged the commitment and support from critical stakeholders in the development of the state and promised to continue to remain in synergy with them in his determination towards driving more development to Ika South constituency.

“Because my people has again reposed their confidence in me, I will not disappoint them. They should expect that I will improve on things that I have done in the past. I will continue to seek the inputs of stakeholders for the betterment of Ika South Constituency”, Okoh said.

Expressing gratitude to God and people of Ika South constituency for the vote of confidence on him, urged all that contested with him to come forth with ideas that will move the local government area forward.

Hon Festus Okoh who reassured the people of good representation as always in the state legislature, said he can never afford to fail the constituents, promising to continue attract the dividends of democracy to Ika South.

“I feel good and great to be reelected to the House by my people. I thank God Almighty for the privilege. It is all about God and my people. I can not afford to fail. I cherish the votes of confidence and I will dearly guide jealously by doing what is right at all times”, Hon Okoh emphasized.
