Hon Yingi Welcomes Okowa To Burutu, Hails His Performance as Governor of Delta State
The Member representing Burutu One Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon Daniel Yingi has enjoined his constituents to turn out enmass to receive the state governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as he visits Burutu local government area Thursday, June 21, 2018.
Hon Yingi in a statement, said the visit of Governor Okowa to Burutu local Government Area for a townhall meeting and commissioning of projects would provide an opportunity for the people to appreciate the governor for his developmental strides across the state.
The Lawmaker who is the Chairman House Committee on Environment, Oil and Gas called on the people of Burutu local government area to come out and give Governor Okowa a rousing welcome.
Hon Yingi said Governor Okowa had risen the stakes of development in Burutu local government area with the quality of roads and other infrastructural projects embarked upon by his administration.
The lawmaker noted that the Governor had carried the riverine areas along in terms of practical development which had been neglected over the years due to its terrain.
While stressing that the people were pleased to have Governor Okowa on the saddle of leadership in the state, Hon Yingi said Burutu was feeling the positive impact of the SMART agenda.
The Lawmaker pledged the support of the people to the Okowa led administration, adding that the constituents are in full support of his re election as governor of Delta State in 2019.
Hon Yingi urged the governor to maintain the tempo of development in the upland and riverine areas of the state in line with his smart policies and programs.
