Hon Nwaka Salutes Dame Okowa On Her 05 Medical Outreach To Aniocha South

The Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Angela Nwaka has commended the 05 Medical Outreach of the wife of the State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa.

Hon Nwaka gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen during the flag off of a three day medical mission by the 05 medical team at the Ogwashi-Uku General Hospital, Ogwashi Uku in Aniocha South.

The Lawmaker who is the Chairman, House Committee on Education, lauded the initiative and appreciated the governor’s wife efforts in touching the lives of Deltans positively.

Hon Nwaka noted that many lives have been saved through the medical outreach, stressing that as a trained Medical Health Practitioner of many years experience, she understands very well the impact of the medical mission on the lives of Nigerians.

The Lawmaker emphasized that the 05 medical outreach had made lots of positive impact in the Delta State health sector, emphasizing that the health of the people were of great concern to the Okowa’s led administration.

She commended Dame Okowa for being so supportive to her husband, noting that the programs of her NGO were in line with the SMART policies and programs of the state government.

Hon Nwaka said the Free eye treatment, operations and distribution of treated mosquitos net amongst others, during the three days health program were commendable.

The Lawmaker charged her constituents who have health challenges to avail themselves the opportunity being provided by the medical outreach to seek solutions.
