Hon Nwaka Celebrates With Ogwashi Uku Monarch At 90


The Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency in the Delta State House, Hon Angela Nwaka has felicitated with Obi of Ogwashi Uku kingdom, Agbogidi Obi Professor Chukwuka Anishi Okonjo on his 90th birthday anniversary.

Speaking immediately after the birthday thanksgiving service at St James Anglican Church, Ogwashi-Uku in honor of the monarch, Hon Nwaka congratulated the royal father at 90 and thanked God for his life.

The Lawmaker stated that the reign of Obi Professor Okonjo has brought peace and progress in Ogwashi Uku kingdom and enjoined all his subjects to continue to support him for greater development in the kingdom.

Hon Nwaka who is the Chairman, House Committee on Education, acknowledged the immeasurable contributions made by the Ogwashi Uku monarch in the Nation’s Education sector, stressing that he will remain a source of inspiration to many especially those in the academics.

While rejoicing with the children and other well wishers at the event, including Former Minister of Finance, Prof Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, the Lawmaker on behalf of her constituents wished the monarch well at 90.

Hon Nwaka noted that the entrance of Obi Professor Okonjo into the league of nonagenarians was a thing of joy and prayed God to grant him good health.
