Hon. Izeze Holds 3rd Edition of Izeze Children Party in Ughelli South LGA
The yearly Izeze Children Party organized by Comrade Izeze R.Y. Reuben, Honourable Member representing Ughelli South State Constituency and the Majority Whip of Delta State House of Assembly, was successfully held on Sunday January 1, 2017.
Hon. Izeze successfully held the third edition of the party at Ewu Town in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The event which is the third in the series featured several dancing competition as well as presentation of gift items to the children who attended the party. The children drawn from the various wards in the LGA were in high spirits as soon as Hon. Izeze, his team and family stepped into the venue of the party.
In his speech, Com. Izeze said the children’s party is to encourage the children to be in their best behavior and also to make them have some good time in the festive period. He promised to continue holding the party for the children of Ughelli South, every first Sundays of the year till he leave the public office.
As part of the mentoring of the children, the lawmaker advised the children to take their studies very serious and to respect their parents and elders if they are to be successful like him.
“You can’t be a lawyer like me if you don’t take your studies serious, in the same vein, you can’t be a lawmaker like me if you don’t respect your parents and your elders.” He added.
The children who won in the dancing, beauty, questions and answer competitions were also presented with Com. Izeze branded notebooks, school bags and other gift items to commemorate the occasion.
The party also featured dancing competition by parents of the children while various gift items were presented to the winners.
Hon Izeze and other invited guests thereafter danced with the children.
The party was attended by Chairman, Ughelli South LGA, Hon. Paul Etaga, Olorogun Peace Idisi, President General Ewu Community, Hon. Ogaga Etaga, Comr. Asa Riesa, Ughelli South PDP Vice-Chairman, Mr. Avbodoke Anthony, Mrs. Ese Oshetigho, Engr. Joseph Agboro, Chief (Mrs.) Christiana Ofuedje among others.
