Harsh Reality: Power Outage Disrupts Fashola’s Visit to APC Secretariat
The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Thursday paid a visit to the national secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to Daily Trust, the reason for the power minister’s visit, who arrived some minutes before 2pm, could not be ascertained, but sources confirmed that his discussions with the APC leaders revolved around party matters and governance.
The Minister who was a first time visitor to the APC national headquarters in Abuja since his appointment as minister, experienced power outage during the visit.
Fashola, who did not speak to reporters, was seen off by the party’s national secretary, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, after the meeting.
Since his assumption of Minister of Power, Works and Housing, some sections of Nigerians have decided to associate him with the name “Minister of Darkness” due to the increased level of poor electricity supply in the Country.
