Gov Oborevwori Suspends Aide Over Alleged Fraud Claim by Verydarkman
The Delta State Government has suspended Favour J. Obakoro, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Morals and Diaspora, over allegations of fraud.
Obakoro, also known as Vida Modelo, was accused of using her office to scam individuals, promising to provide work permits outside Nigeria in exchange for large sums of money totalling over 100 million Naira.
According to social media critic Verydarkman, who exposed the allegations in a video, Obakoro would promise victims a refund if the process didn’t work, but would fail to deliver on her promises after collecting the funds.

Verydarkman urged the Governor of Delta State to remove Obakoro from office, stating that “it is people like this that will bring corruption to the state and spoil the name of the Governor.”
In response to Verydarkman’s video, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Eze Emu, in a post shared on Facebook, announced the suspension, explaining that it would allow security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the allegations against Obakoro.
